SKI Plano, the Plano ISD Education Foundation annual fundraising event, celebrated its 20th anniversary Saturday, January 30, at the Plano Marriott at Legacy Town Center. Fun was had by all as the guests danced to Jordan Kahn Music Company, bid on silent auction items, enjoyed a wine pull and bought raffle tickets for some amazing prizes, all while supporting the students and teachers of Plano ISD. Guests enjoyed themselves throughout the night as they met new faces and connected with familiar ones.
Plano ISD’s very own Ms. Lilli Wisler and Ms. Jennifer Denton, the school district’s 2015 Elementary and Secondary Teachers of the Year, respectively, were emcees for the event. A highlight of the evening was when a guest won a “Year in a Lexus” generously donated by Park Place Lexus! Our guests were great supporters of Plano ISD and happily donated to specific Foundation program initiatives such as Grants to Educators, District Science Fair, Plano Family Literacy School, AVID and 5th Grade Outdoor Learning School.
