Frisco based American Newland Communities and North America Sekisui House LLC recently announced a development that will bring 1,800 homes and 1,400 apartments as well as office and retail space to Frisco. The joint venture partner acquired 729 acres for a master planned community.
The property is located north of the Sam Rayburn Tollway, about 30 miles north of downtown Dallas and five miles east of the Dallas North Tollway.
The new development will break ground this year with the intention of having the first single-family community ready by 2017.
According to Newland Senior Vice President Brian Cramer, the homes in the first phase of the development will have prices from above $400,000 to over $600,000. More affordable options could be available in the future.
NASH is a wholly owned subsidiary of SEKISUI HOUSE, LTD, Japan’s largest homebuilder. For more than 50 years, SEKISUI HOUSE has been building homes and communities in Japan and throughout the world.
