Haggard Park

Head to Haggard Park in Downtown Plano on the last Saturday of every month, June through August, to watch some of this year’s most beloved family-friendly blockbusters.

The season opens with Rogue One: A Star Wars Story on Saturday, June 24th at 8 pm.  Former scientist Galen Erso lives on a farm with his wife and young daughter Jyn. His peaceful existence comes crashing down when the evil Orson Krennic takes him away from his beloved family. Many years later, Galen is now the Empire’s lead engineer for the most powerful weapon in the galaxy.   Come dressed in your favorite Star Wars costume if you like!  Food trucks on site.  Popcorn, and shaved ice available for purchase.

Each event will have a fun twist or activity involved.  For Rogue One, attendees and their dogs are encouraged to dress up and take part in Star Wars-themed costume contests before the movie starts at 6:30 pm. There will also be a Jedi Training class hosted by Roser Martial Arts Center at 7 pm.

Bring a blanket or lawn chairs and dine from the food trucks on site.  This year’s Movies in the Park season is made possible by Frost Bank.

Future Movies in the Park:
July 29 – Moana
August 26 – The Lego Batman Movie
