More than 3,500 people will dress in costume and head for historic downtown Wylie from 6 to 8 pm on Thursday, Oct. 27, for Boo on Ballard, a free trick-or-treat event sponsored by the Wylie Downtown Merchants Association and the City of Wylie. Kids will trick-or-treat with local merchants in a safe, controlled environment. Wylie Parks and Recreation hosts Glow in the Park at Olde City Park, also on Ballard Avenue. Activities include bungee trampoline, zip line, foam canon pit, and live DJ. Glow-in-the-dark swag, like necklaces and wands, available for purchase.
