At the Collin County Commissioners Court meeting, commissioners voted to drop the tax rate 7 percent to $0.208395 per $100 valuation.
This is the largest tax rate cut in 30 years. They also approved the county’s combined budget of $322.7 million.
County officials said the total included operating funds, which further include the
- general fund
- road and bridge fund
- permanent improvement funds
- debt service funds.
